Strait of Juan de Fuca from the Olympic
Mountains,
British Columbia in the distance.
Today we spent the day at Olympic National Park. God's wonders are truly amazing. After we left the visitor's center we took the 17 mile drive up to Hurricane Ridge. The views were incedible. The wildlife and beauty were everywhere.  Along the way we could see British Columbia on the other side of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

The alpine panoramic views from Hurricane Ridge were breathtaking.

Our next destination was the Sol Duc Falls.  On the way to the falls we drove for at least 15 miles alongside Cresent Lake, the lake was huge and serene.

Before we arrived at the falls, we stopped to see the Salmon Cascades, a point along the Sol Duc River where you could see the salmon jumping on their way upstream to their spawning pools.

After a pleasant one mile hike we arrived at the Sol Duc Falls.  The falls were gorgeous, the power was amazing.

As we headed back to camp, we agreed that God is the greatest artist and we are so fortunate to experience his gifts.

Goodbye for now, happy trails!
